Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Operates company vehicles to move materials, tools, personnel, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another. Completes tasks with vehicle assigned in a timely and safe manner. Ensures vehicle is maintained in a serviceable and clean condition. Conducts vehicle inspections, loads and unloads, and washes vehicles. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Shall meet the qualifications of AFSC 2T151, Vehicle Operator/Fleet Specialist, as defined in AFI 36-2101, Airman Classification. Possesses or has the ability to obtain a driver’s license IAW Host Nation laws, applicable AFI’s, or SOFA requirements. Shall have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. The contractor shall ensure only American Nationals with appropriate security clearances & authorized by LRS/CC handle classified Documented Cargo Operations (DCO) deliveries. All other DCO non-classified general cargo deliveries shall be delivered by both Turkish &
American National employees.
