  • 5 + recent years of securities/funds or banking customer direct selling experience for technology or business solution related offerings, with extensive customer & industry contact network.
  • Vision insights of capital market or banking business digital transformation and innovation trend, especially in the area of digital sales & marketing/investment research/quantitative trading/Fintech. Ideas of cloud related solution selling in line with these business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions is a bonus.
  • BA/BS degree required. Masters or MBA a plus.

Lead capital market/banking industry cloud business development, in line with the FSI digital transformation and innovation initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive meaningful new logos breakthrough in securities/Funds or Banking industry. Meet or exceed quarterly meaningful new logo target.
  • Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive cloud adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Develop account plan for key accounts and territory
  • Expect moderate travel within the region (North China)

A day in the life
Frequent communication with capital market/banking customers, seeking digital transformation and innovation business compelling opportunities, mobilize internal alliance team and external partners to work out specific solutions to address customer needs.

About the team

  • A technical selling background with solutions and IT services to financial enterprises, with direct field sales experience in working with enterprise accounts across your assigned territory.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & good handle on English
