Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Supply Chain General Manager to oversee the Jieyang plant ramp-up
  • Ensure Jieyang plant project completion in a timely, quality, good EHS compliance manner
  • Serve as the point of contact with construction general contractors and sub-contractors
  • Be a key member of the catcher team and ensure technology transfer, hiring & training of manufacturing people, and preparation for production are conducted as planned
  • Drive processes, create metrics/KPI, and address organizational issues.
  • Refine the operating rhythm and lead operating rhythm to drive consistent behavior and process rigor.
  • Define and implement common, global metrics that measure performance related to

internal and external CTQs.

  • Participate the ERP implementation from an Supply Chain perspective
  • Identify opportunities to lower cost, increase productivity, and improve execution across the global business and lead projects to execute.
  • Work with Engineering to identify opportunities to create processes decreasing

response time to the customers.

  • Identify other potential opportunities to improve business performance, and work across functions to implement creative solutions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience in Operations/manufacturing/supply chain, with 5+ years on leadership roles managing teams
  • Six Sigma trained with demonstrated ability to apply tools and process rigor
  • Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting GE offshore businesses and our suppliers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Strong experience working in a matrix organization.


  • Experience or understanding of Wind products, heavy equipment assembly industry dynamics.
